CENTI helped to build communication between the UK and Chinese tech communities
On October 14th, 2019, CENTI Group organized a business technology trip in cooperation with The Global Tech Advocates (GTA) and Tech Shanghai Advocates. Around 42 people participated in this event, they were from GTA Delegation, CENTI Team, and SHANGHAI JINGJI. The aim of this event was to show the development history of E-Sports in China and its global development status.

In the morning, GTA Delegation first visited Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility, which is intermediate energy, third-generation light source located in Zhangjiang High-Tech Park.

Then CENTI took GTA Delegation to visit Zhangjiang International Innovation Harbour, many well-known incubation spaces, such as Microsoft, Alibaba, Intel, plug&play, Sino-Russian joint incubator, Zhizhuo incubator, and 36kr space.





After that, GTA Delegation visited Zhangjiang Artificial Intelligence Island which is the first top "5G+AI" industrial tech park leads by Shanghai Government and Zhangjiang Group.


After the break, all the participants began the Space Tour. During the period
of the space tour, the Chairman & Co-founder of JINGJI -Ronin Yu introduced about the JINGJI. Then he gave a welcome speaking and thanked all the participants for attending.

Then, Russ Shaw, Ambassador of London Technology and chairman of Global Technology Advocate Organization gave a keynote speech by introducing the motifs of the Hi! Tech Season and the content of the related activities. He mentioned that CENTI HITS was originated from London and aiming at promoting European advanced technology to the Chinese market.

Vicky Liu, Vice President & Director of Comprehensive Investment Department of CENTI, also made a speech about “The Chinese Voice of E-Sports”. In her speech, she mentioned the diversity of E-Sports.

With the development of technology, it would bring huge potential for E-Sports. In 2018, the scale of E-Sports competition in China was 86.3 billion yuan, and the number of users reached 428 million. Not only in China, but E-Sports in Europe is also developing very fast. To develop the E-Sports industry, it is also very crucial to develop E-Sports education. Shanghai JINGJI has taken the lead in getting out of the first step of E-Sports entering the campus. CENTI Group invited Shanghai JINGJI to visit the Imperial College.
After the speech, it was the time to talk and share the thought of opportunity in the E-Sports industry with Technology and Finance. The host of this part is John Zai who is the Founder & CEO of CENTI.
