Event Introduction
2021 Overseas Innovation Week focuses on high-level and scarce talents from home and abroad who "have core technology and play a core role" to help the high-quality development of Northeast Asia Science and Technology's innovation, entrepreneurship and venture capital center.
This is an important part of the project of overseas students and cutting-edge talents returning to China to start their own business. The application for this project has been fully launched

The three-level incubation chain of crowdsourcing space-incubator-accelerator has helped 150 enterprises to obtain social capital of 1.233 billion yuan. 15 national-level crowdsourcing spaces and the Union Creative and Uni-tech accelerator form a complete entrepreneurial ecology, and Microsoft's "Dalian Industrial Internet of Things International Accelerator" helps enterprises to precisely connect with Microsoft resources.
Human Resources
There are more than 145,700 employees, 537 national and provincial talents. Dalian University of Technology, Dalian Maritime University, Northeast University of Finance and Economics, Dalian Medical University, Dalian University of Foreign Studies and other universities have 5 independent software schools, and the proportion of bilingual students in Japanese, Korean, English and Japanese reaches 59%.

Capital Supports
There are 121 financial and insurance institutions, and a complete system of financial services such as angel investment, venture capital (VC), private equity (PE), technology banks and guarantee institutions. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the total scale of guiding funds will reach 3 billion yuan, and 30-50 sub-funds will be established in cooperation with social capital for industry, entrepreneurship, mergers and acquisitions, and angels.
Who can apply?

Master's degree or above from overseas or experience in research and development management in overseas universities, research institutes or famous enterprises

Have independent intellectual property rights and internationally leading proprietary technology, the project should be in line with the key industrial direction of the high-tech industry.

If the enterprise has been established in Dalian High-tech Zone, the registration time is after January 1, 2020.

Services that CENTI provide- Provide input on Chinese business plans, such as company location, corporate structure, business development strategy, etc. - Market research and initial pitching to strategic investors and organized trips to Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong for face to face meetings, assist in talks with investors whilst accompanying the CEO. - Introduce additional value-add partners such as the HKSTP (Hong Kong Science and Technology Park), Weifang High-Tech park (home to major tech corporates such as Goertek) and Zhangjiang High-Tech Park (the leading industrial in Shanghai). - Negotiate with the relevant government departments in China, navigating the complex legal and culture systems. - Provide additional operational support, such as setting up the WFOE (wholly foreign owned enterprise) structure and acquiring talents in the early stages. - Build up the client’s Chinese pitch deck, tailoring to the Chinese market.
