- Provide input on Chinese business plans, such as company location, corporate structure, business development strategy, etc. - Market research and initial pitching to strategic investors and organized trips to Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong for face to face meetings, assist in talks with investors whilst accompanying the CEO. - Introduce additional value-add partners such as the HKSTP (Hong Kong Science and Technology Park), Weifang High-Tech park (home to major tech corporates such as Goertek) and Zhangjiang High-Tech Park (the leading industrial in Shanghai). - Negotiate with the relevant government departments in China, navigating the complex legal and culture systems. - Provide additional operational support, such as setting up the WFOE (wholly foreign owned enterprise) structure and acquiring talents in the early stages. - Build up the client’s Chinese pitch deck, tailoring to the Chinese market.
